Each wig is handmade to suit the agreed design. Pricing and production time depend on the styling complexity, materials, and our current production queue.

What to Include in Your Wig Request

To help us understand your project, please provide:

Character name, series, and the specific version or outfit.
Clear reference images, including front, side, and back views where available.
Preferences for color, volume, silhouette, and styling details.
Your delivery country and postal code.
Your event date and preferred arrival date.
Your budget, if you have one.
Any additional requirements or accessories you would like us to review.

If you are unsure about a detail, explain what you are hoping to achieve. We may contact you for additional information before finalizing your quote.

How the $5 Quote Request Fee Works

The $5 payment is a quote request fee, not the price of a finished wig.

If we cannot agree on a final quote or move forward with your commission, the fee will be refunded. If you accept the quote and proceed, the $5 will be deducted from your final balance payment.

Submitting a quote request does not reserve a production slot.

How Your Commission Works

1. Submit Your Request

Complete the quote request form with your references and project details, then pay the $5 quote request fee.

2. Review Your Quote

We will contact you by email with pricing, estimated production time, shipping information, and payment instructions.

If you have not received an email within 2 business days, please check your spam folder and contact info@cakycos.com.

Quote requests may be closed after 20 business days without a response unless otherwise arranged.

3. Confirm and Begin Production

Production begins after payment or the required deposit is received. Your production slot is not reserved until that payment is completed.

Please confirm your styling preferences and deadline before making payment.

4. Review the Finished Wig

We will send finished photos and/or videos for your review. After your confirmation, your wig will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking information.

Orders may be held while we await your confirmation.

Production Time and Event Deadlines

Standard wig commissions are typically completed within 20–25 business days, depending on complexity, material availability, and our production queue.

This is an estimated production period, not a guaranteed delivery date. Shipping time is additional.

Rush service may be available for an additional fee. If you need your wig for a convention, performance, or photoshoot, contact us before payment to confirm whether your deadline is achievable.

Styling References and Color Preferences

Reference images help us understand your preferred shape, color, and overall appearance. References from other creators may be used for inspiration with appropriate permission.

Each wig is handmade, so exact replication cannot be guaranteed. Minor variations may result from the base wig structure, materials, styling techniques, lighting, and artistic interpretation.

Base wig color selections are preferences and serve as a starting point. We may adjust the base color to better match the agreed character references. Color changes cannot be guaranteed once production begins.

Shipping and Packaging

Standard U.S. shipping generally takes 5–10 business days after dispatch. International delivery times vary by destination and customs processing. Some orders may ship directly from our international workshop.

Your wig will be carefully packaged and secured for shipping. Please provide accurate delivery information and monitor your tracking updates. Applicable customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the customer’s responsibility.

If your package arrives visibly damaged, document the packaging and item condition before removing or wearing the wig, and contact info@cakycos.com. Keep the packaging and securing materials for review.

Optional Wig Travel and Storage Case

A cosplay wig travel and storage case may be added to your commission. Multiple sizes are available. Contact us to confirm the appropriate size, pricing, and availability for your wig.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is $5 the full price of my wig?

No. It is the quote request fee. Your commission price is provided separately after we review your requirements. If you proceed, the $5 is deducted from your final balance payment.

Can I request a specific arrival date?

Yes. Include your event date and preferred arrival date in your request. We will review your deadline alongside production and shipping requirements before you commit.

Will I see the finished wig before shipping?

Yes. We provide finished photos and/or videos for your review and confirmation before dispatch.

Can I change the design after production begins?

Changes cannot be guaranteed once production has started. Please provide your preferences before payment and contact us promptly if your requirements change.
