How to Order

1. Submit a Quote Request
   Fill out the required information and submit your commission request.

• If we are unable to agree on a final quote or move forward with the commission, your quote request fee will be refunded.

• If the commission proceeds, the quote request fee will be applied toward your final order total.

2. Quote Review & Communication
   Our team will contact you via email regarding pricing, production timeline, shipping information, and payment instructions.

If additional details are required, we may reach out for clarification. Quote requests may be closed if no response is received within 20 business days unless otherwise discussed.

3. Production Begins After Payment
   Production will only begin once payment or deposit is received. Production slots are not reserved until payment has been completed.

4. Final Confirmation Before Shipping
   Once your commission is completed, we will send finished photos/videos for review and confirmation before shipment.

After confirmation is received, we will carefully pack and ship your order and provide tracking information.

Please note:

• Orders may not be shipped until confirmation is received.

• Minor handmade variations may naturally occur compared to reference photos.

Production Time

Standard commissions:

• Usually completed within 20–25 business days depending on complexity, materials, and production queue.

Rush orders:

• Rush production may be available depending on schedule capacity and will require additional fees.

Production timelines are estimates only and may vary slightly depending on complexity, production workload, material availability, and shipping carrier conditions

Special Requests

Customers are encouraged to provide reference photos and styling preferences, including:

• More natural styling

• More volume

• Color preferences

• Reference wigs/styles from other creators (permission required)

Please note:

• Due to the handmade nature of commissions, exact replication of reference photos is not guaranteed.

• Final styling may vary slightly based on materials, wig structure, lighting, and artistic interpretation.

Base Wig Color Disclaimer

Selected base wig colors are preferences only and serve as a starting point for styling.

Final colors may vary due to:

• Dyeing processes

• Styling techniques

• Lighting conditions

• Material availability

Cakycos reserves the right to adjust base colors when necessary to best match the provided references.

No color changes may be requested once production has begun

Shipping Policy

Standard shipping:

• United States: usually arrives within 5–10 business days

• International shipping timelines vary by destination and customs processing

Some orders may ship directly from our international workshop to improve delivery speed.

Customers are responsible for:

• Correct shipping information

• Customs duties, taxes, or import fees

• Monitoring shipment tracking after dispatch

Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, shipping timelines and handling are outside of Cakycos’s control.

Wig Packaging & Warranty

All wigs and commissions are carefully packaged and secured inside the shipping box.

If your package arrives visibly damaged:

• Please do not immediately remove or wear the wig/item

• Take clear photos/videos of the packaging condition first

• Contact us at info@cakycos.com before further handling

For significant shipping damage claims, we may request:

• Unboxing videos

• Packaging photos

• Internal condition photos

Warranty review may be voided if:

• The package is heavily tampered with before documentation

• The wig/item is worn before reporting damage

• The internal securing attachments are removed before inspection

Refund & Returns

Due to the handmade and custom nature of commissions:

• Returns and refunds are not accepted once production has started

• Deposits/payments become non-refundable once materials are purchased or production begins

• Handmade commissions may contain small artistic variations

If Cakycos is unable to complete a commission before production begins, eligible refunds will be issued

Additional Commission Policies

• Quote request fees and consultation fees may become non-refundable after extensive revisions, planning, or design consultation work has been completed.

• Repeated quote requests, excessive revisions, or multiple project changes without commitment may result in declined future service.

• Custom commission pricing may change depending on:

• Material costs

• Complexity

• Timeline requirements

• Production availability

• Production slots are limited during convention seasons and high-demand periods.

• Customers are responsible for confirming event deadlines before payment.

• Shipping carrier delays are outside of Cakycos’s control.

• Cakycos reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund commissions at our discretion.
