What Your Payment Covers
The $5 payment covers a quote request only, not a finished wig. If you select a Premium Wig Travel Case, your payment also includes the selected case. We confirm the final wig commission price, production estimate and shipping details by email after reviewing your references. If your commission proceeds, the $5 quote request fee is applied toward your final order total.
-
Styling Wig Only: quote request only; the finished wig is quoted separately.
-
Add a Premium Wig Travel Case: quote request plus your selected Size M or Size L case; the finished wig is quoted separately.
The selected option's total is shown in the product selector. The quote request fee and optional case payment do not cover wig production.

Production begins after payment or the required deposit is received. Production slots are not reserved until payment is completed.
-
Final Review & Shipping
Once completed, we will send finished photos/videos for your review and confirmation.
Your wig commission includes one complimentary revision after the wig is complete, during the review of finished photos or videos and before shipment.
For orders with an urgent deadline, we notify you by email of the specific deadline to confirm the finished wig or request the revision. If you do not reply by that deadline, the wig is treated as confirmed so shipment can proceed.
After confirmation, your order will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking information.
Orders without an urgent confirmation deadline may be held until confirmation is received. Minor handmade variations from references may naturally occur.
Production Time
Standard commissions are typically completed within 20–25 business days, depending on complexity, materials, and our production queue.
Rush orders are always available to request. Deadline feasibility and any additional fee are confirmed before payment. Include your required arrival date with your quote request.
All production timelines are estimates and may vary due to workload, complexity, or material availability.
Shipping
U.S. standard shipping generally takes 5–10 business days after dispatch. International delivery varies by destination and customs processing.
Some orders may ship directly from our international workshop.
Customers are responsible for accurate shipping information, applicable customs duties/taxes/import fees, and monitoring tracking after dispatch.
Carrier handling, customs processing, and transit delays after dispatch are outside Cakycos's control.
Special Requests
Customers are encouraged to provide reference photos and preferences regarding color, volume, styling, or other details.
References from other creators may be used for inspiration with appropriate permission.
Because each commission is handmade, exact replication cannot be guaranteed. Final results may vary slightly due to materials, wig structure, lighting, and artistic interpretation.
Base Wig Color
Base wig color selections are preferences and serve as a starting point for production.
Final colors may vary due to dyeing, styling, lighting, and material availability. When necessary, Cakycos may adjust the base color to better match the provided character references.
Color changes cannot be guaranteed after production begins.
Quote Request Fees
- If we cannot agree on a final quote, your Quote Request fee will be refunded in full. If you agree to keep the quote request open for a future order, we retain it instead of refunding the fee. The refund exception applies to 10 or more price inquiries for the same item without committing to an order.
- If the commission proceeds, the fee will be applied toward your final order total.
Packaging & Warranty
All commissions are carefully packaged and secured for shipping.
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please photograph/video the packaging before removing or wearing the item and contact info@cakycos.com.
For damage claims, we may request unboxing videos and photos of the packaging and item's condition.
Warranty review may be affected if the item is worn, packaging is substantially altered, or securing materials are removed before the damage is documented.
Refunds & Returns
Due to the custom handmade nature of commissions:
- Returns and refunds are not accepted once production begins.
- Payments/deposits become non-refundable once materials are purchased or production begins.
- Minor handmade and artistic variations are not considered defects.
If Cakycos cannot complete a commission before production begins, any eligible refund will be issued.
Additional Policies
Repeated quote requests, excessive revisions, or major project changes without commitment may result in future service being declined.
Pricing may change based on materials, complexity, timeline requirements, or production availability.
Production slots are limited, especially during convention seasons. Customers are responsible for confirming event deadlines before payment.
Cakycos reserves the right to decline, cancel, or refund commissions at our discretion.
