What if I need to cancel my booking?

Please contact info@cakycos.com if you'd like to cancel your booking.

14+ Days Before Rental Start Date – Full refund minus a 10% processing fee.

7–13 Days Before Rental Start Date – 50% refund of the rental fee.

Less Than 7 Days Before Rental Start DateNo refunds (due to scheduling and preparation).

Can I try on the costume before renting?

No, we do not offer try-ons for costumes before renting. However, we provide detailed sizing charts and are happy to assist with measurements to ensure the best fit.

How long is the rental period?

Our standard rental period is 1 days, starting from the day the costume is delivered to you and ends on the day you ship it back. Please ensure the items are returned within the rental window to avoid additional fees. Extensions are available for an additional fee.

Can I buy the cosplays I have rented?

Yes of course! We generally determine the buyout price based on the item’s depreciation and offer a discount based on the rental price. Email info@cakycos.com if you would like to initiate the buyout!

What if I do not return my rental items before the deadline?

The rental item should be shipped back to us before the deadline. You can also extend your rental period if you need them for a bit longer. If your rental is not shipped in time, your card will be automatically charged with the extension fee. If the item is not returned after 10 calendar days, the purchase price will be charged.

What if I only return partial of the items?

A charge will be applied for any items not returned in their entirety. This includes, but is not limited to, wigs, costumes, accessories, props, or any other components provided as part of the rental. The fee will be assessed based on the replacement cost of the missing items.

What is included in the rental package?

Each rental package includes the costume, accessories, props, wigs, and any other items listed in the product description. Some packages may include shoes if specified. A prepaid return label will be included in the original package for your convenience.

Do I need to clean the costume before returning it?

No, we handle the cleaning. Please do not attempt to wash or dry-clean the costume, as improper cleaning can cause damage.

What should I do if the costume or wig is damaged during use?

If any items are damaged, please contact us immediately. Minor wear and tear is acceptable, but significant damage or irreparable harm may result in additional charges.

What if the costume doesn’t fit me after I receive it?

We recommend checking the sizing chart carefully before ordering. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for fit issues. If you're unsure about sizing, please contact us for assistance before placing your order.

What happens if I return the items late?

A late return will incur a fee equal to the cost of one day’s rental for each day the item is not returned after the agreed-upon return date. Please ensure the items are returned on time to avoid additional charges.
