How to Order

1. Submit a Quote Request

Complete the required information and submit your commission request.

• If we cannot agree on a final quote or move forward with the commission, your quote request fee will be refunded.
• If the commission proceeds, the fee will be applied toward your final order total.

2. Quote Review & Communication

We will contact you by email with pricing, estimated production time, shipping information, and payment instructions.

If you do not receive an email within 2 business days, please check your spam folder and contact us.

We may request additional information if needed. Quote requests may be closed after 20 business days without a response unless otherwise discussed.

3. Production

Production begins after payment or the required deposit is received. Production slots are not reserved until payment is completed.

4. Final Review & Shipping

Once completed, we will send finished photos/videos for your review and confirmation. After approval, your order will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking information.

Orders may be held until confirmation is received. Minor handmade variations from references may naturally occur.

Production Time

Standard commissions are typically completed within 20–25 business days, depending on complexity, materials, and our production queue.

All production timelines are estimates and may vary due to workload, complexity, or material availability.

Special Requests

Customers are encouraged to provide reference photos and preferences regarding color, volume, styling, or other details.

References from other creators may be used for inspiration with appropriate permission.

Because each commission is handmade, exact replication cannot be guaranteed. Final results may vary slightly due to materials, wig structure, lighting, and artistic interpretation.

Base Wig Color

Base wig color selections are preferences and serve as a starting point for production.

Final colors may vary due to dyeing, styling, lighting, and material availability. When necessary, Cakycos may adjust the base color to better match the provided character references.

Color changes cannot be guaranteed after production begins.

Shipping

U.S. standard shipping generally takes 5–10 business days after dispatch. International delivery varies by destination and customs processing.

Some orders may ship directly from our international workshop.

Customers are responsible for accurate shipping information, applicable customs duties/taxes/import fees, and monitoring tracking after dispatch.

Carrier handling, customs processing, and transit delays after dispatch are outside Cakycos's control.

Packaging & Warranty

All commissions are carefully packaged and secured for shipping.

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please photograph/video the packaging before removing or wearing the item and contact info@cakycos.com.

For damage claims, we may request unboxing videos and photos of the packaging and item's condition.

Warranty review may be affected if the item is worn, packaging is substantially altered, or securing materials are removed before the damage is documented.

Refunds & Returns

Due to the custom handmade nature of commissions:

• Returns and refunds are not accepted once production begins.
• Payments/deposits become non-refundable once materials are purchased or production begins.
• Minor handmade and artistic variations are not considered defects.

If Cakycos cannot complete a commission before production begins, any eligible refund will be issued.

Additional Policies

Quote or consultation fees may become non-refundable after substantial planning, revisions, or consultation work has been completed.

Repeated quote requests, excessive revisions, or major project changes without commitment may result in future service being declined.

Pricing may change based on materials, complexity, timeline requirements, or production availability.

Production slots are limited, especially during convention seasons. Customers are responsible for confirming event deadlines before payment.

Cakycos reserves the right to decline, cancel, or refund commissions at our discretion.
